Senior Digital Project Manager



The Senior Digital Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage and lead all digital projects from scope definition, planning, estimating, design, development, and launch to post-project analysis. The Senior Digital Project Manager will use their comprehensive viewpoint to provide strategic thinking and ideas as it relates to their clients/projects. Projects can include complex website development, CRM campaigns and journeys, paid media initiatives and analytics for FKQ’s robust roster of digital clients.


  • Acts as the liaison between internal FKQ resources and clients
  • Manages the project team resources through the creation of detailed and accurate project briefs, estimates, functional specifications, schedules, timelines and written status reports throughout the project lifecycle
  • Documents all aspects of project development through the use of project extranets, meeting notes, change request forms, and other documentation
  • Understands and follows the established project development and change management process and contributes to this process
  • Creates and manage project plans and is responsible for seeing through to task execution
  • Ability to create detailed estimates for complex projects including tiered options, phased approaches, etc.
  • Provides weekly status reports, project tracking updates and overall assessments to Director of Project Management
  • Works with the Director of Project Management to manage resources for the project, including utilization of team resources, forecasting and budget management
  • Manages scope, including identifying issues and working with the resources and client on resolution plans
  • Understands interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs and has the ability to communicate effective solutions
  • Acts as an internal quality control check for projects
  • Provides strategic thinking and recommendations based on clients’ needs and wants

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including:

  • Required
    • Excellent organization, communication, and motivational skills with an attention to detail
    • A self-starter attitude; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively and ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization
    • Client-facing experience
    • Knowledge and experience managing large projects, using project plan management software, and expert level management of budget management and financial reporting
    • Agile methodology experience preferred
    • Agency experience preferred
    • Direct experience with digital projects such as complex website development, CRM campaigns and journeys, paid media initiatives and analytics
